Just received this Markos with a shearling collar a week ago. Thurston nailed the sizing. The conneto cow hide is supple and soft.

Hi. I am 172cm tall and the back length (from base of collar) is 70cm

When did you place the order?

I placed mine since end of October. The long waiting time makes me actually want to switch up the model completely, haha.

I'm thinking now maybe I should've went more in detail with the customizations.

I did order a https://thedi-leathers.com/product/mtc-1279720/ in the classic Cocoa Buffalo leather with some slight modification to the collar, I paid for my order 15 November so about 3,5 months wait(which seems normal after talking with some Loungers that made a custom order themself, but maybe some leather/designs are a bit different)

I felt the same haha, always second guessing if I should have went for more custom but in the end I feel great about my choice, not to complicated but I did request a change from the standard collar on the MTC-1279720 to a shawl/cossack collar but let the rest be and let Theodoros do his magic

My initial request was for a shawl collar jacket, black leather, with zipper instead of buttons + zipper sleeves. I asked Theodoros for advice/suggestions on what leather type and lining to pick (I wanted leather with a bit more texture - someone actually suggested shrunken horse in this thread) but 2 months passed and he didn't get back to me.


In the meantime I kept seeing other jackets posted here so I got "inspired" and it made me want to switch up my order. I asked him early January that if he did not start yet working on the shawl collar, I would like to get this instead:

Now I don't remember if I'd seen contrast stitching on cognac buffalo back in January, now I'm not sure if it makes sense - haha. Hopefully it will turn out cool.

I'm interested in the Thedi Memphis model with Cocoa Toscano buffalo leather. However, I'm concerned that the brown tones might have a reddish hue and appear very "mottled." Would anyone be able to share some daylight photos that accurately reflect the jacket's color and how it might evolve over time?

Check my post in this thread of my cocoa buffalo Thedi. It has red undertones but I specifically asked Theo to do his best so that the red comes out quite a bit. I'm sure if you asked him the opposite he would be able to sort it out.
