Jacket looks great on you. You’re making me think of a third Thedi.
Do you have any close up pics of the leather?
@torfjord ,here are some better grain pics that Jin431 had posted on page 12 of this thread https://www.thefedoralounge.com/thr...jacket-photos-here.99138/page-12#post-2859263

We had ordered the exact same leather "black canneto cowhide washed & waxed "for our jackets back then, he received his first. Will still try to take some pics of mine during the week.

I tried one of the canneto cowhide jackets when I visited Theodoros last year.

Adding some pics of my second Thedi Jacket here , model 127996 in black Canetto cowhide washed and waxed which i received in Dec last year (our summer here in Australia). Have worn it extensively over our recent autumn and winter along with my other jackets. I initially had my reservations about the shortness of the length which i discussed in my post here https://www.thefedoralounge.com/threads/my-second-thedi-arrived-mixed-feelings.106426/
I absolutely am enjoying having a shorter jacket. The jacket came with a brown and black removable mouton collars.
Some pics with them as well .

Looks great. How's the cowhide breaking in? I don't see much about this Canetto leather, but it looks a bit similar to Badalassi.

The leather is a bit more stiffer than the horsehide i have from Thedi, but it has softened up a bit the more ive worn it. My horsehide started out the same when new, another year of wear and i reckon the jacket will break in nicely.

No worries, anytime. :) Hope it helps you with a decision going forward.

It made it more difficult lol! I am planning my next Thedi (won't happen until next year probably) and I've been eyeing his natural tan buffalo. I already have a lot of black jackets and want more diversity. But this Canneto looks so amazing, I might have to add it to my list of future Thesis.

Thought i would post some pics of the versatility i had with my Thedi jackets over the winter here.
Having 2 Thedi leather jackets, with similar collars, one chestnut brown purchased with a beige removeable mouton collar, the black jacket purchased with 2 removeable collars, a black and a brown. I found out that all 3 collars can be interchanged between both jackets.
2 Jackets + 3 Collars = 8 different looks.

I really like the shearling they use, it's not so thick like some of the others I've had.

My God those are just perfect. That top jacket in particular. It’s absolutely perfect. If I ever get a Thedi it will be a carbon copy of that jacket. The perfect Thedi synthesis of old and new, modern and vintage. It screams Windward, my favorite vintage label. Yeah. I want one.
