I've had this jacket for two months now and I've worn it as much as I could. I love the look of the aniline leather. The overall color has darkened a little bit and it is also starting to show some slight color variations. First time it got wet I got scared because the rain left some obvious stains. Luckily they evened out the following time I worn it out in the rain. It picks up scratches real easy but they also disappear eventually. I love the rich color variations.

Can anyone please tell me if Thedi's canvas jackets are the same price or cheaper than in leather? I've been wanting another shawl collar but in canvas not leather. If they are cheaper than the leather versions I think I'll do it but not if they are around the same price.

I was wondering about that myself. Some of his canvas / leather cossack jackets are really cool. I only know that he's asking €200 extra to go from Italian Horsehide to Shinki.

That's the same jacket, one in canvas the other in leather. €1290 VS €1850.

I must note that prices vary quite a bit ( as much as €300) from one stockist to another.

That is long gone. I had too many black jackets and that particular one was ordered from a vendor that resulted in some bad experiences and poor customer service with them so I did not want the jacket in my possession any longer and it had to go. I lost some cash selling it but I didn't care. I just wanted it gone.

I am looking at getting another direct from Thedi but in canvas. I do like their shawl collar jackets but need another leather jacket like I need another hole in my head so I want canvas. Leather collar only, maybe cuffs and that is it. Green canvas and green deer collar maybe. I'm still pondering what to do.

@Colin G Ok, then I misunderstood your post. Green canvas and green deer collar sounds like a good combo. I'm sure their deerskin is pretty nice. I do have green waxed canvas and brown buffalo which I really like - it's my first Canvas. Price was also much lower compared to full leather version...I bought it about 1.5 years ago.

Nice Robbie. I sold that jacket a few months after posting that photo. Because of my bad experience with vendor I just never wanted to wear it since I just got angry thinking about all of the BS.

I am interested in that jacket minus some of the leather trim and regular flat buttons and I'd be happy. I want a jean jacket replacement so the less leather the better. Canvas pockets for sure and I am warming up to leather on the cuffs and bottom.
