So here we go with my small collection. Up first is a simple St John's Bay that was from a resale shop. Gotta love a $20 jacket for the rainy days:

Then an Aero Half-belt of unknown varity, it's size 46, found on ebay and isnt' fitting me, so it's for sale:

Then a Aero 4 pocket Cafe Racer, size 42 that has quickly become a favorite:

Next up is a Harley Davidson Basic Skins "Perfecto" style motorcycle jacket. Almost 15 years old and one of thier last made in USA:

Next up is a Gibson & Barnes Perfecto style motorcycle jacket called the Coronado. It's the heaviest jacket I own at around 10 lbs:

Last up is my newest (and overall favorite) jacket; a 1930's Aero Half-belt in Steerhide. Breaking this in has been a pleasure.

I am thankful and very humbled to be able to own any quality leather jackets. By sharing these, I hope I do not bring about a spirit of undue pride, I just would like to share some joy and inspire folks. Thanks for looking -- Randy

Outstanding Randy. A great mix. A couple of nice Mc jackets and some gorgeous half belts. Great stuff, and thanks for sharing.

Wow, nice jackets all!
I was wondering if I had too many jackets, now I'm not so concerned.
Like many of my collections, the count is stabilizing around the number of days in a week.
They are in two different locations....I will try to post a couple of pics.

Going back to the original poster jonbuilder; that room in your house has to be one of the best smelling rooms around! That's a very nice, sorted and varied collection you have there. So many people have asked me: How can you wear more than one jacket at a time? Perhaps folks simply can't understand. I guess I'm not as abnormal as I thought :)

I made it with seamstress friends of mine. I took inspiration from an original Buco shearling collar i have (but from a latter model, snaps are not placed the same), and used a shearling collar I took from a 50's ragged jacket, as well as the leather for the back of the collar.
We reproduced the pattern and they sewn the beast.

Hah, you know this Comic book? I like the first 3 issues.

I've stumbled upon a dusty old copy a year ago. I think it was a collection of the first three issues, but it was in French and I had no idea what they're saying. But, I really loved the art and the characters, and some gags I even figured out on my own. I'm asking because I always wanted to read the thing, but can't find a translated version. Other than online.
