the purple jacket is a 50's era N-2A, they fade from blue to graynish/purple sometimes with lots of sunlight over the years. It looks much more grey to the eye than with flash.

I've got probably 25 more to photo. Favorite? The Windward steer hide is as unforgiving as any horsehide I've encountered. I like that funky Sportclad half belt with the funky Talon replacement zipper. the Hercules long coat with Alpaca lining is nice for mid west winters. The Goat hide Sears Topline is amazing. The hide, the fit, the condition. Very classy. I'll do a post on it. The Alexander leathers is one that is utility, so easy to wear. The Buzz Rickson stuff is chilling.

Terry, keep 'em coming! The Sportsclad MC jacket is stunning. Shame you don't have the Taubers CR anymore, that one was one of my favorites.

I have to laugh when I think that I only joined this place just over a year ago now. At the time, I didn't own any real jackets. I had one lamb skin jacket that has since been given away.
Over that time, I have purchased 7 great jackets - 3 have been sold on, 1 is on it's way & I have three in my possession.

The Sportclad was purchased by the sellers uncle in 1948. As near new condition as you would find. It has a very strong horsehide aroma. I've posted on that one. Most interesting HH i've seen on a vintage jacket, some akin to new fancy HH.
