Thanks Jimmy and Lefty. This one seems comparable felt to the Stetson Royal DeLuxe. The Pliafelt version I have is thinner and smoother more like the Borsalino Alessandria.

Also noticed when looking that nearly all the Mallory hats come from Wisconsin---even when not found by Buler[huh]

Naval Grey, "Venezia". The attention to detail on this hat is amazing. Vintage 2" ribbon, Liner sewn in, brim perfectly trimmed to 2" 1/2 and 5" 1/2 crown. Center dent as most of my hats are bashed. I love it!

Got my three rebuilds back from Optimo today.
Stetson XXX OR:

Dobbs with a great almost mauve edge treatment:

Favourite Resistol :

Will do a better photo array when I have the time, these I just shot as I opened the boxes

I figure March first is as good a day as any for Christmas :cool2:
