For me an unknown brand "Glory" from England in grey. I think it's beaverfelt, because of the label (last pic), but not sure. It feels like though. Very soft and mallable. It's in a mint condition.
Unfortunally a size 7, seller sold it to me as 58, so i have to stretch it, but done that before. Does anyone know any information of this brand?

That is a very nice and interesting find, Marcel.

I don't want to disagree with Stefan as his judgements are always spot on. However, I can’t help thinking that this one could well be an Associated British Hat Manufacturers Ltd. hat.

The company was formed in 1966 and comprised 5 of the great Manchester hat makers: Battersby, Christy, T&W Lees, Moores, and Joseph Wilson. The ABHM was created due to the decline in the sale of hats.

There are several things that suggest more than one of the companies had parts in your Glory. Some of them could definitely be parts from the 1950s.

I have a bit more steaming to smooth out a couple brim wrinkles, but my new-to me Sage Hemp Stratoliner came in today... Just in time for the upcoming hot- damp weather

My new Playboy arrived today, it is a beautiful example of an unlined Playboy.

It's clean, the felt is in great shape, but unfortunately not my size. I took a shot on a hat with no size tag, could have been good but not it's not for me. It turns out it is probably a 6 7/8. I don't keep hats that I can't wear. So back to the Bay it goes unless someone on here would like it.

Gorgeous—too bad! I’m the same—if I can’t wear it comfortably, move it on. Better luck next time!

Daniele was very generous and gifted this Chapeau Everest to me. I was thrilled to see it in the box with the Gelot, as I was still a bit bummed about the black one I bought recently was mislabeled for size. Somebody had glued a cork strip under the sweat across the front and down one side and a foam strip across the back and up the other side. Once removed, it fits perfectly.

The brim is 2 inches, the crown 5 inches at it's highest point. 109 grams. The felt has a very soft hand.
It will be enjoyed often!

An old boss once told me to not go too high in Tonnage for my credentials, else you don't go home at night...

This is my "retirement" gig. I drove dive boats (up to 25 pax) in Hawaii and now drive for Hornblower/City Cruises in Marina del Rey

Hi
City Cruises owns the Wild Goose now right? The Duke's old Minesweeper. I found a good video on it.

Exploring the Wild Goose! A tour of John Wayne's mighty vessel!!!

A Dutch Top Hat. Hopefully Stefan might know more about this maker.

Haut Nouveauté. Strange definition as it's more and better than a novelty Top Hat.

Very cool find, Steve. Can't shed much light on the maker though. The only silk hat factory that has it's history halfway decently documented is Spoorenberg of Eindhoven. And they were certainly older than 1920. Wouldn't put it past them though to make hats under another brandname as they did produce them under the name of Burton and I believe Empire as well.
There is reason to believe this is produced later. The brim is covered in grosgrain, not silk, and was done on later hats to save on the precious silk. Both the liner and the sweatband imprints are not as refined and crisp as you would see on earlier hats. So it could well have been made by Spoorenberg.

Thanks for that, Stefan.

I think this Topper was made at the end of the Top Hat heyday. Not too bad, but not that good either. Ca. 1950's in my opinion.
