Pretty Cool!
Hi! I do want that one if it's for sale. I will ask him.A couple years ago this is a hat that Max would have been all over. I miss those heady days. Where are hanging out these days @drmaxtejeda ?
Is it for sale, Bob?I’ve posted this before, but it is a bit cleaner now. Charter House for Juster Brothers of Minneapolis. Based on what appears to be a Hat Corporation of America factory label and a $5.00 price I’m guessing early 1940s. Nice crown height. I found an ad for the Charter House store brand going back to 1930.

I have been a little discouraged latelly because I just can't find hats that make my heart thump. Most would be repeats for my collection anyway, and I often laugh at the asking prices.

Yup, that's a cool one alright!Late posting this one but here is a new favorite, courtesy of @Rmccamey. I love the reddish brown hue of this Milano Homburg. This brim has that slight downward swoop in front and back to give it a little western flare.
Randy saved me from a bad deal and misrepresentation on the bay and then hooked me up with this one! Thank you, sir! View attachment 555733 View attachment 555734 View attachment 555735 View attachment 555736

Yes sir. Thank you!Yup, that's a cool one alright
Some cool new finds, Stefan.Fourth and Final one for now.
Borsalino Bacosan fedora in grey called Sebino (I think). First time we've seen this colour. Size 59 with the bound brim at 6,5cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. Fabulous hand to the thin and lightweight felt. The hat weighs only 89 grams. Borsalino at it's finest. The ribbon and bow are simple but elegant. From the M. Hutter collection.
This hat has also found a new home already.

They are. Thank you, Joe.Some cool new finds, Stefan.
I bought it secondhand, but Ignacio conformed it for me. Lovely hat.I don’t recall this hat. I must be getting old. Did you commission it or buy it secondhand? In any case, his skills keep improving and his current hats are better and more vintage like than his earlier efforts.

Some really nice finds, Stefan. Nice to see good hats turning up again, especially in larger sizes for our big headed friendsFourth and Final one for now.

Stetson Buccaneer, Biskup, Borsalino Anniversario, Borsalino Guanaco, Borsalino Lontra, Borsalino Siur Pipen, Hoyt Louis Cobb, Knockabout, Mikado Straw (I saw Alan's), Nathaniel, Ottmar Reich, Reich Sisal, Poupart & Cie, Stetson Fling, Stetson Mindoro, Stetson Pinnacle, Privateer, Renown, Rocket, Stetson The Slant, The Wanderer, Swann Abram, The Fray, a Cork Boater like Alan's, and Weakley are the ones that are on my list and I haven't found.
I know! Now I understand why @alanfgag seldom buys anyI don’t see a Bailey Lite-Felt on your list!
Is it a bittersweet that you aren’t finding new collection worthy hats with regularity these days? I enjoy the hunt, but you can go a very long time without finding what’s left on your list.
