J. Heinr. Ita Wien "Super" "Extra Qualität", 55 cm possibly late 1950s. Very nice pliable black Felt that easily dry creases. High quality components and workmanship. The overall condition is NOS. J. Heinr. Ita Wien were well known high quality Vienna made hats but they more difficult to find. This one was a seller size mistake.

That one even looks new in the pictures!

Woo hoo, another Penn-Craft bowler. I hope your felt has the same great silky finish as mine.

Late 1950s Royal De Luxe Stetson St. Regis. Sadly this one does not fit. Needs some steam and a bit of cleaning.

^^^^^ Apparently this was on some bug's flight path.

Bummer the St. Regis doesn’t fit. You shouldn’t have any problem finding it a new home.

Took a wee while for it to arrive, but it was worth the wait.
Hückel Standard Crystall in steel grey. Size 57 with the raw edge brim at 6cm and the crown at 10,5cm at the center dent. A few tiny nicks aside the felt is in excellent condition. Missing its liner though and the bow needed some correction as well. The hand of the felt is everything you'd expect from a Hückel velour.

Here's a pic of the bow before the correction.

Nice! I wish I could reach through my screen and feel the felt.

Think I’ve finally found my silverbelly OR after a few years of trying and probably 5 or 6 catch and releases.

This is a Royal DeLuxe—clean but not so clean I feel like I need to baby it. Any help on date? Forties or Fifties? Very nice felt, softer than the Royal Stetsons I’ve owned and not as thick as the 3Xs.

Brim is slightly wonky but hopefully will come around with steam. Was a very easy job to convert it from the cattleman’s crease with which it arrived. The felt takes steam beautifully.

Enjoy the weekend!

Yes, very nice. I really love Stetsons of that era; soft felt, soft sweatbands and so easy to wear.
