Late 50's or early 60's brown Stetson Royal Deluxe The Eagle trilby. 1 7/8 brim and a 2 inch ribbon. I like the age on this one and the fact that is a named model. Being a stingy, I also got it for a bargain price! The hat is in good shape but needs a good wash, block, and brush to get it to really shine.

Another great find, Randy. You're on a roll. Love the crease on that Eagle. Nice chocolatey colour and ribbon combo, too.

Emerging from my summer slumber, the temperatures are these days of 36-37 Celsius, with a new purchase
2dmcdiv.jpg

Huckel Chevreau size 59, well preserved, except the ribbon which has small spots
v5xuea.jpg

The hat is in perfect German tradition, very well done and with quality finishes.
It is a classic of the 60s German hats production

My dating is very empirical, but certainly my friend Steve (owner of a Huckel mine of the same type:)) will know how to give him an age and something else to complete the information framework
34obq88.jpg

It was sold in Mulheim in the Ruhr, under the Huckel brand on the sweatband there is indicated that it is waterproof.
The dimensions are: open crown at 13 centimeters, ribbon at 4.5 and brim. edged and finished with a seam, they are 6.5 cm. The felt is of medium consistency and suede finished

Meanwhile, settle for this, as soon as it is a little cooler you will have the contents of the two boxes coming from the Netherlands, now it's too hot. Be patient;)
Fantastic Hückel Chevreau, Daniele. Very similar to mine. Yours has a wider ribbon I see. How does one date these beauties? Yours could be 50s, mine could be 60s, or vice versa. The cross over from late 50s to early 60s is also a factor.
Hope our mutual hat friend and German/Austrian hat expert Steve can help us both out date wise.
Whatever the decade, 50s, 60s, later or earlier, we each have two wonderful Hückels that we're both looking forward to wearing this autumn and winter.

That’s such an unusual and compelling hat. It’s certainly unusual and I’d wear the heck out of it this summer.

It will definitely be worn alot, fits like a dream. David spent almost an hour with me fine tuning the brim shape and head fit. The beaver portion I wanted modeled after the hat he did for Pierce Brosnan in the series The Son, but I wanted a more teardrop shape and a panama crown. The Half-Breed is one of his favorite custom hats because each one is so different. He said I can bring it back anytime and change out the crown for something different if I get tired of upper panama. It's a "Wyldkarma" design. ;)

Great looking hat! Pretend that I was computer literate enough to type a superscript little 2 = Brent Squared.

This is a hat I’ve needed for a long time. Thanks to an assist from Max, I now have my own Brent!

5 1/2” open crown. 2 3/4” underwelt brim. The crown has a bit more taper than optimal, but I still like it. It’s a bit snug, as expected, but it’s close to fitting now so a few days with a band block should do the trick.

I’ve sworn off looking under sweatbands so any tags or labels hidden there will remain a mystery.

Must have been their number one hit. It is a lovely hat, Daniele. The bow is wonderful.

Not exactly new, because it was posted here before (just not by me). @Garrett has been kind and generous enough to let this one make the journey home to Europe, for which I can't thank him enough.
Echter Borsalino. Nobelsca model in the colour misto Lodola. Not strictly a homburg but a soft felt hat with an overwelt curled brim. Anyone calling it a homburg anyway is immediately forgiven. A substantial hat with the brim at 6,5cm and the crown 11,5cm at the center dent. Quite lightweight for a hat of these proportions with just 117 grams on the scale. Fits me like a dream. Mid-twenties to mid-thirties is an educated guess.
