I stopped by the HatCo Outlet in Garland yesterday and picked up these two...

They look so totally like Vintage!

Agreed. That Silverbelly Special Edition is suhweeeeet!

That looks great, MCG. I'll echo Moon and ask for more specs and maybe a head shot? Beaver or Bunny? And where did you source your felt?

Thanks everyone for the compliments. Moon - the dimensions are 4 3/4" crown at the front, and 2 1/2" brim (I used a vintage #52 block 6" high), Fruno - this was made from a Winchester 100% beaver dark brown body I can't do a headshot because I sold this hat a couple of days ago to a local clothing store here in Portland, 1mach1 - its a new felt body and yes Winchesters dark brown is a nice color, Tommyk - I do have an Etsy store although it is new I just started it a couple of months ago so I don't have much inventory on there, and the better hats I have made have gone to the store I sell to here but I am continually working on new ones.

Been in the market for a 1950s(?) Sovereign Open Road for a while. Very happy with this one despite the verdigris at the rear of the sweatband. Got a nice hatbox to boot! That's residue on the felt from the styrofoam packing material, not a defect with the hat.

Fo und this one today for 5 dollars at a thrift store. I'm going to have to check out a Biltmore thread to try to date it.

I'm guessing that the circular discoloration around the liner tip logo was where a pomade shield was removed. Brim is 2 1/4", crown as creased about 4 3/8". My preliminary guess as to the age of the piece is 60's. If anyone knows off the top of their head (pun intended) age or anything else interesting about this ohe please tell.

Thanks RJR I appreciate the kind words, my etsy store is kind of short on hats right now, here is a link to my instagram if you want to see more of the hats I have made recently that I have sold outside of etsy.
