1930s Sieg Felt purchased from Garrett. Navy blue with teal ribbon/bow.

2" brim, 5 1/4" (!!!) bashed crown: the way stingies were meant to be.

Another beauty of a hat for that warehouse of yours, eh, Robert? :)

I like it, and the crease looks sharp.

No kidding! Out of curiosity, Robert, how many hats do you buy a week? It seems like every other day you have a couple of new beauties to share with us! Do you really have a warehouse?;):) I wish I could own more hats but if did I'd be broke and wifeless.(these new emoticons suck. Where's the old eek one!)

Wow upper case Moratorium. We're certainly going to miss your hats. Hey, Btw, did you ever post on any of those "how many hats you own" or "how you store/display them" kind of threads? I'd like to take a look at your collection if you indeed posted.

I'm reevaluating storage at the moment as finding a particular hat in a reasonable amount of time has become a challenge.[huh]
A purge is also in planning--but the offerings will not be as exciting as Garrett or ScottF and other recent house cleaners.

RLK, if you do decide to do some housecleaning, don't keep it a secret from me, you have some amazing hats.

I found these 3 lids at a county fair last month, unfortunately 2 of the 3 I can't keep because of being too small and or not my style.

This is a beautiful Beaver Brand, Taupe that I'm keeping, great lid.

2nd one....

.....is a dark Navy Blue Habig. I love this hat but unfortunately it's a bit too small @ 6 7/8, I'd give it a little stretch, but I'm not like the taper of it on me, so this will go to the classifieds if anyone is interested. It's in great shape.

3rd one I'm very disappointed in. I seen this Bowler/Derby and fell in love with the color, I haven't seen many in this color scheme b4 and loved it. Again, unfortunately it's too small..It says it's a 7 but it fits more like a 6 7/8. Also, to my dismay, I noticed that it looks like the felt actually was torn, close to the sweat and ribbon. Then somebody tried to fix it with some sort of glue maybe. Once on, it's hardly even noticeable, but being a bit small, it sits pretty high on my head and I don't like the way it looks. This will also go to the classifieds, if anyone is interested.

Like I said, it's hardly noticeable when wearing it.
