Wow, am I technologically challenged, finally some pictures

You're getting closer. Under the thumbnail (small photo) on photobucket is a box that says IMG code. Highlight that and copy it. Paste it into your post, but delete anything after .jpg

If you're viewing the photos at full size, the IMG code will be on the left.

Your first photo looks like this when you paste in the image code. I've inserted spaces so you can see it, but the will be right up against the rest of the mess.

Looks like it was made for you E. :eusa_clap

Thanks, bolt. That was just right out of the box and the brim had gone a bit wonky during shipment, but a little steam and TLC brought it back into shape.

Hopefully ladies' hats are welcome here too. If not, feel free to remove or move this post.

This hat isn't terribly new to me, but I'm new to the thread so I thought I'd share. It's a late 1930s headband-style hat in pink velvet adorned with feathers. These pictures of me wearing it don't show a ton of detail, but they give you the idea. :)

lol I too thought it was your hair! I love seeing women with hats. We need more of them here. My wife and I just saw a cosmetics commercial with Drew Barrymore sporting a Fedora! :eusa_clap Looked great on her.

I echo the sentiments of my august male FLers on this one. ;) Bring it on in,Ladies!!

It would be nice to see more women wearing hats and for more than just formal occasions and church functions. It must be more complicated and and/or time consuming for the fairer sex with regards to the headwear (hairstyles, pinning, coordinating with outfits, etc.)

lol I,too, thought that was your hair. ;)

Required a major re-sculpting(small box and general crushing/distortion), but a whole lotta shade for $14.99. Braid and cowhide band.

Got my Champ straw fedora in the mail yesterday and I`m very happy with it. The color is a light grey and goes very well with the snazzy tri-color 2" ribbon.
I wish the brim was a taste wider as it is only 2"(I had thought it was 2.5),still I`m digging it. Pretty sure it is from the 1960`s and not the 1940`s(as seller listed it)...but I knew that going into it so...
