Beautiful felt but the ribbon has been replaced with one of mediocre quality during a cleaning at some point in its history. '40's? 2-5/8" brim and very thin sweatband sold by Capper & Capper in Chicago.

Golden tan Tilden from Henry the Hatter in Detroit. 5 1/2 open crown, 2 1/2 brim with thin edge binding. 1" ribbon. Original price $10. It's called a lightweight and has nice, light pliable fur. It needs a cleaning, but not a bad hat at all. I was the only bidder.

I just checked Henry the Hatter's website. Tilden hats made exclusively for HTH for 75 years this year. It appears they are still selling the Tilden Brand. Couldn't find anything else in particular about the maker.
