Looks as if it's never been out of the box. :D No damage of any sort! I'll have to meditate on what crease/brim treatment it will get.

Sue

Awesome brim flange. Superb looking hat on you:eusa_clap

1930s Hückel Sigma Seal Velour. It is a size 6 Punti so luckily my size. The crown is 6 inches open with a 2 1/2 inch brim. I have to say this is the finest velour finish I have come across.

The non readed sweat and ribbon had to be replaced by Optimo. The liner was also missing so I had them put in a new one. I think did a great job on the restore.

I recently received my hand made Daniel Plainview style hat. Unfortunately it looks too big on my head, and in all probability will not be holding on to it for too long.

It really is a wonderful hat. If anyone knows where I post this up for sale let me know. I looked for a classifieds section, but I could not find it.

Pure Beaver. Whew.

How about leaving it as-is. Looks great.

I steamed it back to open crown and then gave it a 4-point diamond for now.

Looks like this:

Very Sharp, Mario, and you crease one of the finest looking diamonds I've ever seen.

I agree. It's fine just as it comes.

Thank goodness! I was feverishly reading through the thread to see what your deliberations would produce. It is an absolute classic as is. Excellent choice! :eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Great to see you've replaced the Shudde Bros Sue.

Personally, I'd give it a swoop and front pinches - but you're in Texas after all.

Mario, your diamond creases are amazing. Would you consider posting a tutorial, the same way Jimmy posted one for his famous teardrop?
I'd be very grateful!
