In really nice condition. Tall crown, brim just under 2-1/4". Lightweight and lightly fuzzy. More in Dobbs Diner.

Yep, sensational hat.
Thanks to all for nice remarks about the blue Dobbs. It is a fantastic piece of felt. I knew if I had a blue hat made(First new Optimo due in 2 days) a nice one would show up on ebay for a reasonable price. Its big for its label size so snuggly wearable without resizing.

Howdy Pilgrim....

In todays box, a Pilgrim on the left (I'll put more in the Sears scan thread) and an Adam Airliner (more in the Adam Alley).

Kinda bummed, the Marathon finally showed up. Listed as a 7 5/8 but clearly marked as a 7 1/2.[huh] Any it's a nice enough hat that I will send off to Optimo to get pushed out to my size. It is a large 7 1/2 since I can wear it. It's about as tight as my Adventurebilt so I have no doubt it can be enlarged.
Clearly marked size...

Spot on the crown is from me, brushed off after pic.

What's the felt like on that one? Of the two I have one is very soft, thin and pliable (the one you sold me). The other is later and much stiffer and not quite as pliable. Look forward to more pics!

It is kind of a bummer that is was marked wrong, but from looking at the pictures, it's entirely worth having that one stretched. That's a fantastic lid, man!

This one would probably be close to the one I sold you if it had been used. I see no signs that this one was ever worn. So it has a little stiffness to it. I'm working on the detail pics now and will post soon. Your going to like it because it seems to have all tags including the original price tag.

Indycop, I definitely agree that that Marathon is still a good catch. It's in super great shape, and I'm sure you'll get tons of enjoyment out of it once its adjusted to your size.
