What can I say? It never hurst to stay on the chief's good side. And you just can't beat a teardrop.

Don't date a hat by it's taper.
You can get almost any open crowned hat to show similar taper with a decent center dent.

True! However, to get a nice reverse taper and retain the height of the crown, it has to be earlier of a hat to pull that off.

I came home with this bound brim MooreLite that I call THE COVINGTON, but I have no idea what John loaded into that huge Explorer.

The Covington is a sweet lite felt that will be getting some summer wear.
I am thinking the Major will be making me a 2 1\2'' brim real soon.
