Dixon - Do not be bummed if you didn't over pay. See my comments in the Panama thread - I think that is a striking hat and it looks right at home on you. I agree it isn't Panama (Ecuador) straw/weave but if it were priced right I'd have and wear one.

I got this NOS Stetson Ivy League in the mail today, it's a real beauty...

and of course I had to do a self photo shoot to show it off.

anyone know about this model of stetson? The patina on the hat box leads me to believe it is at least 30 years old. But the hat just looks too new.

I don't know when your hat was made, but I think that the Ivy League model was around for a while. Both of these ads are from 1955.
