My Imperial hat has a great silky smooth finish. Hope you enjoy yours.

Sharing a nice Imperial Stetson that I recently got. This hat is absolutely 10 out 10. The box is without a scratch and all the protective material untouched. The fur felt is as soft as it can be and very workable. The ribbon has a very thin double stitching in the bottom edge, it looks very nice.

I got this hat for almost nothing and I was pleased with the outcome. Sometimes we can still find vintage gems. Unfortunately, I couldn't find much information on it, but.....

Without further do, the Stetson Imperial "Ultimate Finish".

Yes, I have a couple of moderns and there is no comparison to vintage.

I'm out today in my Imperial. It looks black in this shot but it is chocolate brown with a black ribbon.

Thanks! It it s very soft indeed. I wish Stetson were making hats of this quality....I own several modern Stetsons, they are very nice, but not of the vintage quality.

What do you think?

P. & C. Habig Wien Hausmarke "Special Qualität Handerbeit", 58 cm, production year 1957 (based on paper label). The felt is heavy in weight but still easily hand creases. The sweatband is really fantastic with a elaborate P. & C. Habig Wien stamping. As usually the overall quality and form are of the highest order. This hat was made for the famous A. Breiter München hat store (still in business today).

P. & C. Habig Wien Homburgs were considered the highest of quality in Germany and Austria. I actually discovered that Konrad Adenauer (the first first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany) wore a P. & C. Habig Wien Homburg (see link).

Wonderful, Steve. P & C Habig are indeed among the best of the best. I don't need to tell you. Your new one is truly desirable. Congrats.

What can't you read, Panos?

I get the basic idea but I am also missing some words. I have some doubts I have understood the last one (bottom right) correctly though. Nevertheless how nicely they have captured there the look changes due to hat positioning.

Haven't posted this one here before, because it wasn't ready yet.
St. George Cappellificio Monzese fedora in a blue grey. Size 57 with the bound brim at 6,5cm and the crown 10cm at the pinch. Woolfelt hat that is not in a great condition, but the colour is nice and I got it cheap. Interesting enough to bring it along. I put a new ribbon on it and I may change the liner too.

Great find, Stefan. Maybe it's the Englishman in me, but personally, I love that liner [emoji4]
