Third one coming in today fell squarely into the category "hats that make you happy".
Borsalino Lunasca model in the colour Nembo (meaning "nimbus"), which is a fantastic blueish grey colour. Size 57 with the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown 10cm at the pinch. Very lightweight, unlined, hat weighing in at only 85 grams. Sold by Sools of Paris.
Both the model and the colour name I've never seen before.

All nice, but the last hat really has something special going on.

Dobbs One Hundred. The last pic is of the Dobbs One Hundred on the left, with the bound brim, and the Dobbs Fifty on the right, with the felted edge.
The One hundred is even softer. I really couldn't imagine a softer, better felt than the Fifty, but the One Hundred is even better.

I am falling way behind on my fedora database. I need to photograph and enter at least 10 hats. Anyway, here is a 40s (I believe) Stetson. The onion skin is intact and the liner is clean. Classic 1 3/4" brown ribbon with trolly. It has a 3" brim with a overwelt. It was dirty (dusty and surface grim) so I cleaned it up and opened up the crown. Open crown is 6" on the nose. So it's just the way I like - wide brim and tall crown. The only problem on this is the size. It's a 7 3/8" and I'm just below a 7 1/4". I can wear it shimmed but I think I'd rather have the sweatband (which is in great condition) cut down to size and reinstalled. This hat is virtually mint so I'm sure it will be with me for many years to come.
