Beautiful, from the imprint on outwards.
Thanks!Beautiful, from the imprint on outwards.
What a beauty! Perfect condition!
Thats a good looking hat.Good Saturday morning all! I've sworn off of buying hats until my Gannon gets here but since I didn't have a beaver quality Stetson I had to pick this up from Miamibruno when I saw it on the bay.
50s, 60s open road-ish. It's close to a 3 inch brim than my normal width but I like it[emoji16]

This hat is completely hand made by me. The vent holes I punched each one by hand using a leather punch. I invented my own process for doing under welts because I don't have appropriate flanges to assist in folding over the felt. The flange on the hat is shallow because the only flange I have is a shallow cup. The fit is awesome, I worked the hat over early on to ensure it would be a perfect fit and it fits like a glove.
Nicely done you're very talented. My latest hat.

Thanks!Joe , who made the Hat ? It looks great ! How big is that Brim ?
Thanks!
Hats by grizz on etsy. It's an old style, rough finished hat, but just what I wanted. Brim is just over four inches, crown just under five.
Good day to all..first post as a member, and I have to say I'm blown away by some of the beautiful hats I've seen posted here. Please feel free to direct me to the appropriate area if I'm in the wrong one..figuring out navigation of the forum ( its kinda huge ! ) I just picked up a Borsalino at a thrift shop, and am having trouble identifying it. Its too small for my large noggin, but to trade it or sell, I need to know what I have ! Any help would be great. I realize the band is new ( !! ) View attachment 58864
