Josef Mauerer Hutfabrikant Wien, ~ 58cm, probably 1930s. This is a very high quality Stiff Felt. The liner and logo are really fantastic.

Had to get scratch an itch and get me a new Panama Monticristi from Optimo. Feels like a fine silk cloth ...light as air. I love this hat!

Some day I will have to make my way over to Optimo hats. I think I am about a five hour drive from them? I just may be able to barter some Sardines and Cookies for a "discount" on one of their hats? Well...you never know, right? Hahahaha!

I posted this one yesterday and after attempting an edit, I inadvertently deleted it. Apologies to moe and Joao. Thanks for the comments. I came across this and even though not my size, I've had some luck finding some 7 1/4 hats that fit. Not so with this one. It was not an OFAS find and I couldn't get measurement questions answered. I had fleeting thoughts of a stretch (insert FL members screams of NOOOOOOO) but decided against it. Always wanted a 100 anything, now I have it and someone else probably will before long. (insert Bama crying like a baby here) The hat appears unworn and has the thinnest most dense felt I have ever handled. Not a flaw that I can find and the case is in good shape and still has the key, even the plastic bag that covered the hat.
