You won't be sorry,I have a couple of them.what is their lead time like ... few months ?
I think I may need one of those in a natural tone ... that thing is gorgeous ... and I'm not a straw guy

I desire to see them bashed.
It's kind of hard to tell the exact color from photos. Is the green closer to the inside shots or the outside? If it's closer to the outside ones, Petrs Bros. offers hemp in that color. I'm considering one in a Strat-clone style. Might be something a little different.Speaking of manipulating, this one's gonna need a little. It's marked 7 3/8 but is considerably snug. I guess it shrank. That's the breaks buying hats on the ebay. I've had a run of decent luck size wise lately, guess it was about time.
Resistol sewn braid straw. Im guessing 60s or 70s. An interesting color, in the right light it takes on a silvery gray tint.

When I got my PB hemp last summer it was a little on the large size, so, not having any spare spacers, I folded up some bits of paper towel and stuck them down the back. A few weeks later I noticed the back was curling up in an odd way, so I got rid of the paper and steamed the brim back into shape. It worked out fine, but I wouldn't want to do it again as I found the hemp to be a little tricky to work with. I was relieved when I got it back into shape, as I really love the hat. I'd probably want to call Shane if I was ever going to mess with it again (which I won't).THX. All credit goes to Shane @ Peters Bros. Darn thing's 5 1/2" at the front peak. I think I want to tighten the pinch and drop the back a bit for a rake, though...
Don't we have a Peters Bros thread around here somewhere? I'll put the daylight photos there.
Thank you Sir. Nicely buckled and bashed.Granted
The gray cross country I'll leave open because I'm probably moving that one
These two have immediately entered the top of my list.
Dry bashes ... they just buckle under the softest pinch.... My heart

Congrats Moon. I tried to hang in there, but unfortunately my limit was not quite enough. Lovely hat indeedCross Country 2
Which is actually blue but looks gray here.
This may be the single lightest hat I own.

Fantastic!!! Nice score cuz! That one's a real prize.
Super stingy (1 1/2" brim) milan from Phil Forstadt Exclusive Hatters. This one's got a nice tall crown (5 1/2" as creased) that's really accentuated by the tiny brim.
