I think, that manufactoring label was used from around the middle of the 40s. I also think, Stetson used reeded sweats on the Strat from the late 40s. Mid 40s plus a few years(?)

Knox Superfine Foxhound

2 1/2" snap down brim with raw edge and two rows of decorative stitching around the outer edge, 5 3/4" crown wrapped in 1 3/8" grosgrain ribbon with wind trolley and button with Knox logo. Cellophane liner cover and $12.50 price tag behind the sweatband. Not sure of the age but I was thinking mid to late 40s!
