Thanks guys and Happy Easter! The geese are flying North this morning in huge numbers...beautiful.

They're back from Miami! Here, too, beginning last week. And, for the first winter of my life here in New England, I saw robins every month. Al Gore's fault?

Here's wishing that this Easter is the best one yet!

Bahaha. ...Not sure about that one. At least we know that his "internet" contraption is his to claim. BTW, Enjoyed your pics w/your sidekick.

A knit 8 panel cap, I'm guessing, which I picked up the other day with the fedoras. It is not labeled but the sweat is leather and is very misshapen from wearing but still holding up. The outside needs a light cleaning but I like the larger proportions. My wife stole it on Easter and just loves it.

Didn't bother to post this gray Stevens straw, but apparently it is a real brand of hats and even manufactured the Stetson brand. I think it will be a good summer lid and obviously has a leather sweat and is nice and light in weight. The very top and very bottom stripes on the ribbon are white but the image doesn't show the difference from the gray stripes.

Borsalino's top-priced felt--same style as Hückel's Sigma Velour.

He did it. Everybody knows he invented global warming, too. ;)

Robert, does it appear that magnificent Borso had been shimmed inside the sweat at some point?

It does in the photo, but it is pretty well flattened against the felt in person. There is a clear plastic moisture barrier under the sweatband too. It is a full size under its labelled 6 as it fits me snugly.

EMS "Gloria" Backbow, measures 59cm, 6 3/8 inches! Open Crown, 2 1/2 inches brim, 1935. It came with a crease clip (Excelsior) and the original hat shop bag (H. Moeller Marburg). The felt (Ferrum) and ribbon (Veilchen) colors are very unique (both Violets). Same with the felt finish and hand (very malleable). I had trouble photographing it. More details in the German - Austrian thread.

Lefty, hatsRme, Monte, Thanks!

Justin, Thanks! This is the first Crease Clip I have seen in person. I have seen them in action in old photos. The Crease Clip requires a very deep center crease. The crown on this hat is about 6 3/8 inches open.
