Mike, you're right. I mentioned in another thread that I seldom bother with brick and mortar stores anymore due the above-mentioned reasons that all have voiced. I have finally learned to check Ebay 1st and save myself the dialoge with Eddie Haskell a the local Crapmart.:D

One Too Many
While I see the need for technlogy, I have to admit if not for my gadget happy husband I probably wouldn't own anything modern.

I have a gas stove, no microwave, and I rarely watch tv. But I spend more on books them most do on food. Even my sewing machine is non-electric (but I do own a couple that are, even if I rarely use them). The newest one I own is made in 1952.

I don't have a cell phone simply because if I want people to know where I am 24/7 I will tell them. I also never step foot into a best buy simply because I can't stand people. 90% of them make me want to scream and the other 10% I seem to know. If it's not the sales people, it's the customers, or kids. While I have one, I really don't like children (although they don't seem to believe it). DH does go to them, and I go to the fabric store.

I work on a computer, I love video games (I am a big nerd) and my son makes some of the entertainment things like a DVD a necessity around here. So it's a roll of the dice on if I have anything technological here.
