I think the final accent (reading from war of the worlds) is his actual voice - modern RP. That is not a criticism, the "Terry-Thomas" style voice is spot on, with certain classic features of the accent of the mid 20th century (southern, minor public school) - almost pronouncing"here" "he-yar", etc. Good luck to the fellow.

Terry was really great in a movie, with many many famous comedians called, "It's a Mad Mad World".

Have to admit it, the very last time I was in England, I ran into someone that had such a verbal difference in speaking English, that I was not able to understand one darn thing and had to just smile and walk away. It was if the person was speaking alien-ese or something, all sort of, Therwasallably or' nasun't wot tittle to draven a bit too right, ey? What ever, thanks and see you later!
