Point me in the direction of an Indy'esque style jacket please..?

It is a bit! I saw the Levi's repro in the west End, but they were made to look old and battered with fake 'repair' work nad sanded finish to the leather (I'd much prefer to just wear one in...not OUT!)

I love old jackets with throat latches... bizarre detail, but I was pleased they agreed to it!

I had an inside pocket added as well, on the left (Like on their flight jackets).

It's a great jacket to wear...and looks great with my lovely bag from 'Eardley Outfitters'!

Rufus,

I was in and out of Aero when they were distressing those jackets for LVC. It was trauma time! I sympathise. When you are inclined to respect the garments you make it must be hard to treat them like that. I had mine pulled from the line before that stage.

I have a thing for throat latches, too (a bike thing I guess). I'm halfway through making one up since my previous posting. I just need two brass studs to finish it off.

Keep on with the bag - they pay you back for hard use. I just parted with my personal W&G bag after more than 40 years. It carried my sandwiches to work on my first job, my excavation tools as an archeology volunteer and travelled with me to some of the world's more exotic and interesting places. And now it has a new owner on a new continent and will go to places I never will.

Alan
