I found this in Rag Parade Sheffield - it's still for sale - not my thing. Does anyone know what it is?

Looks a bit like a snowsuit -- Could be a waterproof coverall for working in conditions where you don't want to expose your regular clothes to whatever you're working in.

How heavy/warm is it?

Quite well insulated. I found a few references to it by searching after posting here. Apparently it's a liner for an RAF waterproof suit for use in lifeboats.
