Please help id this G1 patch

I bought this LW Foster 55j14 recently as a restoration project - it needs new Knits. When I had a close look I found a line of stitching marks on the right breast. Does anyone know what patch was on it - can you recognise it by the cut out paper outline I've used to show the shape of the outline of the stitch marks? Thank you in anticipation

My best guess would be VMF-224. Not quite exact, but the sewing (and the patches) were often somewhat inexact...especially when they were made overseas.

Thank you it's v similar I'll check it against the stitching in daylight tomorrow

It could be VMF-311.

Yes thats a good possibility too thank you - update I've just had a close look at the stitching and there are angles on the outline I've missed on my cut out - it matches well the above VMF 311 and I found a replica site which gave the same dimensions, so thank you - problem solved.
