Pics of sleeve zips on the bottom of the sleeve?

Hi all, I'm in the process of ordering an Aero Buco J-100, and I'm wondering whether I want to keep the default placement of the sleeve zips (on "top" of the sleeves) or move them down to the "bottom" of the sleeves. From what I've read here, I understand that bottom sleeve zips can be annoying when you place your forearms on a table, desk, or keyboard. At any rate, I'm wondering if any one has pics of sleeve zips on the bottom?

Thanks in advance!

usually the sleeve can be made by 2 or 3 panels or more, so the zipper can be placed on one end of those seams. I like the zipper on the seam that run along the elbow, not really on the bottom, more like on the outside, however it can scratch brushing against objects when you walk too close to them, so I have to be careful with that. but at least it won't annoy me most of the time, or scratch my own jacket body.

In my experience...

On top of the sleeves - Least troublesome, easiest to operate (especially on a bike) but most prominent. If you ride, note that they'll catch much more rain and grime there so you'll need to clean them from time to time:

On the inside of the sleeves - Least prominent, doesn't get in the way as they're always rotated toward you but on some jackets, these zippers can scratch on the jacket itself:

In the sleeve seam / bottom of the sleeves - Pretty much a standard, done on most jackets. Can scratch on stuff but doesn't have to, depends how the back sleeve seam done:

Racing jackets usually have zippers on the inside seam of the sleeve which is also a good place for 'em but this is never seen on more casual motorcycle jackets:

The zippers on the top of the sleeve always look so much cooler to me. I don't know why. Certainly it draws more attention to the sleeve...I agree it's more functional should you need to open or close it while riding.
I've always preferred them on top but it's certainly not the norm. Buco, some Brimaco and Kehoe jackets have it this way. Those newer Schott perfectos have it too. It's totally up to your stylistic preference. I will say if I were after a Buco j-100 repro tho...they'd have to stay on top. For me that's kind of a trademark design element on a j-100.

Thanks for the replies, all! I realize that Buco J-100s typically have the sleeve zips on the top, but in my head I thought they would look a little too prominent and so I'm considering moving them to the bottom.

However, it's kind of interesting--when I lay the jacket down flat, the sleeves appear to be on the top. But when I'm actually wearing the jacket, the sleeves are more on the "outside" rather than directly on top--such that it doesn't look as prominent as I feared it would. So maybe I'll keep the default position? I don't know!
