Photos of my crown jewel Borsalino - new photos added

I took a few indoors, a few outdoors. I don't know if the photos do it justice. But the felt is amazing. It was hard to get good photos, as my wife is napping, so I took some myself. I didn't fuss with the color - the photos are pretty accurate, so I left them as-is.

and a strage coincidence. The hat arrived today, July 10 (much earlier than I expected). It had the original receipt in the box. Check out the date.

You know how long it's been since I last posted? Well, that was the last time I had a few days off. So you can imagine how crzay the studio has been.
I have a few more days off this week before I have to start another group - I can do those suit photos, probably.
Yeah, I got lucky with this hat. I would have paid whatever it cost, but luckily it was under $100.

buddy holly is awesome. When I don't wear a suit live, I wear a lot of 40s casual clothes, but I get the Buddy Holly thing all the time (of course, I also get Marty McFly a lot...not too sure why, though I'm lanky like Crispin Glover).
I've played a couple of the last few venues he played - in Green Bay, WI and in Milwaukee. both were awesome venues that haven't changed much.

BTW, the Qualita' Superiore is what I was
refering to in my PM. It's marked "superior quality"
for a reason. There were extra and extra extra
superior Borsalinos, but did that quality ranking
change its meaning over the years, like the "X"
ranking did in Stetsons? I dunno.

Man, that's the style and you wear it well.
