Langlitz Cascade, from their Instagram.

Makes me wonder why they use such terrible pics on their website. They should use pics like these instead.

Trust me, its a short jacket. A 59 mm back length on a size 42 (56 mm chest) is very short. 61 mm is short on a 42. 59 mm is unusually short. @Marc mndt 's jeans in the above photo are low waisted and yet the bottom of his RRL jacket still falls below his belt. The Bodie is shorter and would likely fall above the belt.

Notwithstanding certain strong opinions incorrectly stated as objective maxims, this is all a matter of subjective personal preference.

^ Height is the key distinguishing factor. I am 6'-6'1'' with a long torso. It appears that you are shorter. A 59 mm length jacket would fall above my belt and look like a bolero jacket on me. You might be able to pull it off. People 5'10'' tall can wear a broader array of OTR jackets.

Thanks @Mich486 . Great looking jacket, BUT . . . insanely short in back. Check out the HUGE drop from the front length to the back length:

That drop looks to be over 3 inches. Front length is fine but look how short the jacket is in back.

Oh well, another jacket candidate bites the dust.
the back looks like a disaster, full action back that doesn't retract, back darts with strange triangular reinforcement stitches that probably causing those weird dimples, huge upper sleeve. Marc's RRL jacket there has a much better pattern on the back for the same design.

24" ptp. 22" back length (56 cm) worn with low waisted jeans.

Some patterns have a short back length by design and I think it looks great on this one. I even think this particular jacket would have looked odd if it would have had a 24" back length.
