Just started watching 30 seconds over Tokyo, this guy's (civilian A2?) jacket must be made from striated lambskin or sheep leather, look at those bumps across the chest

I read a few times that actors sometimes chose not to wear real A2's of horse because they were too heavy under studio lights. Sinatra had a thin, tailored A2 made for Von Ryan's Express. But costume departments back then were resourced and could quickly push out light weight lambskin A2's for a movie - even if the details were wrong. Wested Leather was still doing this for the movie Hanover Street in the 1980's, although by then genuine A2's held in large numbers by Western Costume were generally looking manky.

Took a closer look, I don't understand why they decided to print pebbles onto the horsehide?... anyway, I'm suppose to be receiving the BK version of this design...

I chose the black. I'm very curious to see how the copying job turn out, especially the collar point and lapel.

Like most of their stuff i think it looks pretty good but is also pretty spendy. In this particular instance i think the issue is it would never get worn enough to be truly comfortable. Aside from Boss style, thats what N1’s do best, all day comfort.
