I asked Langlitz about the Death's head cascade recently (it is my favourite langlitz), apparently you can only get one if you are one of the chosen ones:

"As for the Death’s Head Cascade…. It just doesn’t fit everyone. Probably the reason Ross stopped making them decades ago. The only solution we found is this: You have to actually try one on first. If it fits ok, we can make you one. The only places we will make changes, are the sleeve length and the body length for a little more cost. You can submit some measurements as you would for any other jacket, and John can take a look and let you know if you’re a candidate for one or not. I’ve attached a blank jacket order form, and our “how to measure” pictorial if you want to give it a go."
They're such gangsters. Like chefs that won't cook steak well done.

That's a very... interesting (odd) reply...I wonder what the qualifications are? And if they insist you try it on do they then have a one size fits all version of the jacket? Or more likely they only make it in one size and will adjust the lengths only?

Seems like they don't want to adjust the pattern

Edit: come to think of it, I guess they make to measure but they don't really create a pattern?

For real. Because it doesn't look like it fits all that impressive on neither of the Japanese dudes that pop up on Google image search when I look for the jacket. I mean, it looks okay but nothing spectacular.

Mr Freedom Raw Campus + kilim jackets are pretty amazing!

Agreed—very visually impactful. Having owned a MF Campus, one must be careful about its emphasis on the shoulder-forward cut. It feels like you are forced perpetually into riding a cafe bike... when you’re not riding. Pulling your elbows (much more pronounced with shoulders) back feels like you’d tear the seams off the front panels. Unfortunately sizing up to allow more shoulder/chest movement would mean everything else (sleeves and waist length) might be off.

A very cool jacket nevertheless, but built more for Quasimodo.

Toys McCoy Elsinore. Legitimately could not improve upon this CR design. Like an overbuilt Bates for mad dollar.

Very nice front, the V-shaped yoke makes the two-panel back work somehow. I am a fan of single panel backs, but here somehow it works for me. It also seems they patinaed the jacket a bit.
