Really good price for a beautiful Aero HWM.

Man now that is short...And trouble is..that is not A HighWayMan. I don't know what it is. Looks lika a HalfBelt without the halfbelt in back.

Fit-wise, it looks like it could be the Original 59er Highwayman, though the details (straight yoke on the back, lack of cuff-zips) are off for that. Is this one of the HWMs that were made to a request for a significantly slimmed down version in the Lauder era? (Assuming it is indeed an Aero; the other possibility is that it has been relabelled at some point.)

You are right! I noticed something was off but couldn't figure out what. It doesn't have its trademark strip around the bottom hem. It could be some kind of a hybrid. The sleeves are correct, though.

And yes, really too short but a nice jacket nevertheless.

How much is it? Is it cheaper than just buying a Lewis if in the UK?

Don't know about that one particularly, but most of the Lewis import copies I see are about half price. A real Lewis is about £700-750GBP, just a little more than an Aero, and a hundred or two hundred less than an ELMC.

Lewis' prices have gone up. Can't get one south of £800 I don't think. Where can I buy the import copy? Who makes it?

Addict Clothes Cyclone version costs twice as much (including import charges, duties etc) an original Lewis Leathers Cyclone in the UK. So not sure if that’s the right direction to look for if you want to pay less than an original Lewis.

Yep, thought so. Most Japanese LL copies cost much more than the original. Hilarious.

Yes it’s crazy to have a clone more expensive than the original.

To be fair, Addict Clothes use very nice leathers (probably better than LL) and all the details are top notch. But they don’t offer customisation while LL do and... well they are a clone at twice the price. No way!!

With all the taxes and duties it's not economical to buy Addict, certainly. I saw them in Clutch cafe in London (near to the old LL store) and I just couldn't figure out why I would buy one for twice the price of a Lewis.

Gaijin are not their customers. Fact is, that's what a high end jacket costs in Japan so to be fair, selling them for half a price elsewhere wouldn't make much sense.

Nor does it make sense to sell them in the UK at twice the price of a Lewis!
