While obscenely 80s to my eyes, if it takes pandering to the all-oversize-everything Zoomers for Vanson to stay in business, I'm all for it.


Can't say without seeing the label in a close-up, but I think this is from before Rivetts was acquired by Lewis, because the reason Aero was able to win in court to use the Highwayman name was that while Lewis had bought the company and design, they hadn't been using the Highwayman brand.

I was looking at this exact listing, sizing is a touch big for me, but I believe this is the original Highwayman before they were acquired. I think many British brands shared similar patterns as well in this era.
The condition is a bit shabby for me. But this jacket is pretty awesome. Sheepskin too. Very interesting way of doing the lining. The inside facing doesn't go all the way down. I'll probably end up with a repro version. These jacket looks short though. Looks like 23" or under.

Yeah, it says 61 cm which Google tells me is 24" so quite a short jacket, weird, it didn't look so short from the front to my eye.
