Did you need a defibrillator after seeing this? Right up your alley.

The jacket looks to be part part of the Early 2000-'s D-BAG Starter Pack:

Dude, I still have gnarly deep gougey scratches on some antique chairs from Early 2000 D-Bag guests with overly bedazzled back pockets scraping them up!!!!!!!! I never bought into this look myself. Instead of biting on the latest fads. I just keep EVERY ITEM OF CLOTHING FOREVER until it comes back into style......... So in the future -- when Von Dutch is back in style somehow, I guess will just have to buy new.

These photos are making me nauseated...........

If the Fedora Lounge is ever a place to sell Jeans like this, I hope I'm dead.

Is repacked into this:

Sometimes the original source material becomes totally lost and all that’s left is a very flimsy, totally obliterated and thin remnant that bears no resemblance to that which it imitates. I think Chrome Hearts is the epitome of that. I know you like the gear but to my eye it’s lunch meat compared to prime rib, despite what grailed might insist to the contrary. I honestly think it’s some of the worst gear I’ve ever seen in my entire life. So completely rife with cliche and horribly dated looking. I look at it and want to see burning in a 50 gallon drum.

...if I lived in a cooler climate, this would be a must-have.

These are interesting. I handled a couple at a time; I was surprised by how thin and light they felt - wasn't convinced they'd give much warmth. That said, they were of course designed as part of a layering system, to be worn over a bunch of other bits, in which case I'm sure they're effective. For a civilian, depths of Winter, short coat, though, I'd take a USN peacoat over one of these every time.

Still tempted to try one of these again some time, though, for that 'lived in workwear' feel.

I'm considering to buy one of these Hein Gericke leather jackets but as far as leather quality and overall quality/construction I honestly have no idea but maybe it's worth a try.

This I had myself many years ago and have spent with this many km in all weather on the motorcycle.
Stupidly, I have then at some point given to a buddy.
I can not say anything negative about the jacket, unless my memory deceives me.

@Mr Proper Thanks for your feedback. Good to know that the quality seems to be good. What's the weight/leather thickness compared to CXL HH, Shinki HH in case you can recall as it has been years ago? The leather looks like goatskin but I may be wrong. It has a rather thick wool lining. The price is in a range of 80€ which should be OK. I just need to check exact jacket measurements.

Yes, that lining is thick felt fabric. The leather was firm but not too stiff. In any case, a sturdy jacket. But as I said, that was around 25 years ago. So do not nail me ;-)
For 80 EUR I would buy it again if it were in good condition for my size.
However, the jacket is rather to wear closed and not really civil ;)
