Akubra Blue Mountains protected me from a few passing showers this morning.
HA! That's awesome HJ, using nature to your advantage. The tight crease looks great.Had to clear leaves from an outdoors drain during a heavy rain. The rain helped me pinch a tighter crease in this Akubra Territory. Work on it will continue.

Thanks Rick. It was a dry crease I did a couple days ago before the rain. I’ll wait until it dries but I can probably get it tighter & deeper now with some steam & tools.HA! That's awesome HJ, using nature to your advantage. The tight crease looks great.
That's pretty funny Terry! I was thinking the same thing. My Resistol Ridgetop protected me from the sunshine and good weather
Before the sunshine and good weather
After the sunshine and good weather
I was out walking my dog and enjoying the day when all of a sudden the Sun popped out from behind a cloud and my hat got sunshine all over it. So, I hotfooted it back to the house and snapped a picture of my hat. That's pretty funny Terry! I was thinking the same thing.

Two hats, one rain.
How? Well, I went out fishing. Saw dark clouds moving in so I did the right thing and kept fishing. Started raining. I got wet. Came home and unloaded the kayak and then noticed my Akubra Sombrero sitting on a stump. I was wearing it earlier in the day and took it off and forgot about it. I do that all the time.
Sombrero (trimmed brim) on the left, Bushman on the right.

You probably want to stop doing that; too easy to lose a good hat....Came home and unloaded the kayak and then noticed my Akubra Sombrero sitting on a stump. I was wearing it earlier in the day and took it off and forgot about it. I do that all the time...
But the most important question is, did you catch anything?
Well now, a guy doesn't fish and tell.
Seriously though, not even a dang bite!
