Well the rains are coming through! Light rain today as reflected by my Moonstone Fed IV. Took the drizzle with no problems - as I would expect it to! LOL

Tomorrow though we're supposed to get over an inch of rain. Looks like my Tawny Fawn Fed might be getting its first bath! The weatherman said if that was converted to snow, we'd get over a foot of the fluffy stuff. Thankfully it's supposed to be in the 40's through Saturday night.

Don't be afraid LS most fur felt hats made before 1970 can take it. I do have a few hats that aren't pristine that I use in really bad weather, downpours and such but, I'm not afraid to get any of them a little wet.

My 50's Stetson Royal Deluxe Open Road and our first snow of the season
It's got stains and imperfections so I'm not afraid to wear it in the worst conditions

It rained on the way home. This Dobbs comes from the era of black sweatbands and plastic liner tip covers. It's drying out now. The felt feels tight-grained and almost clay-like, so I think it will be OK! It's one of my favorites!

Had to run outside to help bring in some stuff for a department breakfast. My manager sounded almost apologetic when she saw me and said she didn't realize I didn't have an umbrella to shed the rain. I just smiled and said that's what my hat is for unless the rain is really heavy.

The black doesn't show the damp well, but the hat did a good job keeping my head dry.
