Perry Sportswear Private Purchase A-2?

Except for the pointed collar, this jacket is a dead-ringer for the Perry contract. Did Perry make private purchase jackets? Or maybe a Perry was copied to make this jacket. Perry was likely the maker of the no-name 1756 A-2.

This reminds me more of a Roughwear 42-1401-P than a Perry.

Superficially, it looks like a Perry Sportswear with the scalloped pocket flaps, but there's reinforcement stitching at the base of the zipper and diagonal reinforcement stitches at the top of the pockets (both not typical Perry features). The placement of the box stitching on the epaulettes doesn't look right for the Perry (too narrow, sitting within the stitch lines). I'm not as familiar with Roughwear jackets, so Jag might be right. It's not likely to be a private purchase as the label has been removed - note stitch holes in the lining.
