Perry Como Fans

I always loved Como's style. Especially in his early days he could really swing a song. And he always had a combination of sophistication and hipness. He never seemed to get old. I grew up looking forward to his Christmas specials every year.

It isn't Christmas until it play his Christmas album. I have it on vinyl and CD. I had a crush on him based on my mom's albums when I was in elementary school.

I like Como, but find that he's too hit and miss. The abundance of saccharine novelty tunes is grating, but hits like "'Til the End of Time" "Prisoner of Love", and "Round and Round", and "Magic Moments" are wonderful. I also have a fondness for "It's Impossible", one of his last hits.
