Whoa, has anybody seen this? Looks like Schott dug into the archives to launch a whole vintage reproduction line of jackets and assorted clothing. Some horsehide jackets among them. Not cheap, but very nice looking. Check it out:

Funny, all these years and I never put 1 and 1 together when it comes to the origins of the Perfecto name! Some nice stuff, but a little pricey.

I like the sunburst jacket's design, although the hide has that 'achtung! $1000 dollar jacket coming through! observe how expensive it looks!' obnoxious looking treatment.
The one I have unexpectedly taken a liking to is that tweed perfecto, it's rebel meets bookworm.

Totally agree. I would think that most of the Made in USA Schotts have sizes of measurments?!

I guess the target buyers of "Perfecto brand" are more like the fashion people.

I would always go for the standard Schott Perfecto anyway time.

Do you have a Perfecto? I always wondered what their HH was like. The Carney (named after Art Carney?) is a cool jacket: sort of a two-tone 689H. Unfortunately, it's only available now in Large.

For the price, the sizes should be in numbers.

I have tried out several Perfecto myself, but never a horsehide.

They are really nice jackets, I like the two tone one on their Perfecto website. But then, just by offering S,M,L,XL sizes
is a bit of a cheat, especially with those high price tags.

I like that one, quite Vivienne Westwood IMO; I also like the wax cotton number too.

Where are the pics then? All I see when I click the link is a photo of a cars interior mirror.

Follow the "shop" link.

Agreed. For that sort of money, dull as it might sound, I'd stick with Aero tbh. If I got a good deal on some of those bits on sale, though, and I had the opportunity to try on and knew one of those sizes fitted me well, it might be different.
