It's a lot cheaper to pick something like this up vintage than new, and on the vintage ones, the fabric and the cut is better.

It just takes some patience and knowledge to find them. You'll pay at least several hundred dollars for a modern one and the quality won't even be close.

Hm I don't like the lapel/collar opening. It is too big. How is it called ayway?

PS: But I like the fact that they try to offer reproductions. They have some nice ideas. Just needs some work on the details.

Go for vintage - they are out there. And it's the fun of the chase.
I picked up a black one recently quite cheap (trouble is, it doesn't fit me). It weighs 5 and a half pounds - you won't get that heavy weight in any modern version.
