Great fit even on you, Dave!! It's a nice looking pea coat you got!!
Thanks to all for the infos, I read the Peacoat dating thread which is fantastic to determine the right fitting and to know historical infos.
I'm checking all, but long, 38 to look for an excellent condition pea coat for me! Probably, even 38 short will fit a little longer on me than they fit on you guys, but it's not a problem. Most important is to get a pea coat which fit me well on chest, torso and arms.
Jan or whoever bought from Vintagetrands, can you tell me how much is the shipping cost to UE?
thanks for helping me

It costs approx. 35 EUR for insured shipping depending on how fast you want it shipped. I wouldn't recommend USPS express though because the extra fee for express doesn't really speed things up. A parcel will take about 6-10 working days to Italy. Only buy a peacoat in excellent/mint conditon and check back with Gary Wallace that the coat is free of defects and moth bites.

I'm new here and am learning so much, but you guys are a little strange. JanSolo has a girlfriend who's just stunning (or so I've read) and some of you guys date pea coats? I'm casting my vote with the JanSolo technique.

Better be careful the group with which you cast your lot. If you ever see her show that sly little smile of hers, you will be hooked for life. Best you stay with the Peacoat Dating group--a much safer category.

[Edit Note: And shouldn't you be shoveling snow instead of thinking about beautiful women? I talked to a friend of mine in Detroit last night, and she said the storm was expected to drop up to two feet of snow in her area. I have family in upstate NY--Ithaca area, and they almost always get more than anyone else. Hope you guys come out OK.]

Only when you guys start to date peacocks will I be worried enough to leave over to the "General Attire and Accouterments" section.
Until then I leave the circumstances under which Mr. Peacoat of Tennessee has been in the favorable position to behold Mr. JanSolo's undoubtedly ravishing company to my imagination.

have a grand day out gentlemen!

Like St. Thomas said (about something different!!) "If I don't see, I don't believe". Till then, peacoat dating is part of the dating tecnique.

This is turning out to be a real anticlimax.

Maybe I should dig up my old coat i got in the navy and throw it onto my better half.
Its not a peacoat i think, but its close.
