Have used my baggy canvas ones in OD for several years now both for everyday wear and for my other hobby...airsoft..lol..
great boots but I have had to go to good insoles, mainly because of my own foot issues,not because of a failing with the boots.Definitely worth the money....
Just as an aside...a bit of history on these...during and after WW2 the french looked at both their normal issue boots and the US and UK jungle boots that were in use at the time.They were looking at a design that could be used both in their north african colonies and their tropical ones.the result was produced by palladium and then contracted out by palladium,wiesart, and pataugas and saw use in just about every conflict france was in from '47 onwards....friends of mine that were in iraq and a-stan that worked with french troops and FFL that are still using these and the new palladium tactical boots and wouldn't trade them for anything....
