Under my Over coat I am wearing very baggy plus fours, a harris tweed sports jacket and a wool waist coat, Simone is wearing a country tweed suit.

The house is Boringdon Hall in Devon. We spent 4 days there over new year, as though it was new year 1937/38. The Hotel was booked by a friend of ours, and turned into a country home in the 1930s. It was a smashing weekend.

The plus fours and argyll knee socks are a nice touch. I wouldn't wear plus fours myself though, for some reason I can't seem to place. My only nitpick is that all the matchiness is a bit much to my eye.

I thought I was looking at a photo of my Grandparents(both 1910's babies)
you two look so authentic, absolutely marvelous!

That photo is pretty uncanny. Just a little bit of smudge and other identifiers of old photos and I'd have a hard time telling it from other pictures taken in the era.
