It's not what Lady GaGa wears, it's the color that MAC and Lady Gaga came together for breast cancer awareness month.

Beautiful colour - I bought it when it came out and used it right down to the bottom of the tube. I don't mind Gaga, her music isn't to my taste but she's quite pretty, and I admire her work for MAC. Plus, she got to pose with Cyndi Lauper! Cyndi is the best! :D

Wonder what that shade is that John Travolta is wearing ?

He's got great taste in dresses, too lol

Cyndi is a goddess and I've loved her since I was a little girl. And she is a vintage lover, like us! She's a huge Helen Kane fan!! :D

I didn't like the beige Lady Gaga lipstick AT ALL at first, but I bought it anyway because it was so different than what I usually wear. It makes me look like I have no lips lol And I kind of like it. I'm waiting for someone to ask me if I'm "sick" lol

I much preferred Cyndi's Viva Glam shade, it's a lovely pinked out red, I've gotten back into it the last couple of days actually, it's very wearable and natural on me.

I guarantee that if Divine was still alive he'd have a MAC special edition lippy. I would have bought that for sure.

I often wonder about those who have passed, but have made an impact on the world of makeup. Like Divine. Also, Kevyn Aucoin. Would Kevyn have had his own MAC line if he lived? I bet he would have. And I just know he would have LOVED Lady Gaga and would probably have had an entire book out devoted to her. *sigh* So sad he passed too soon.

As for Cyndi's lipstick -- I love it, too! It is a nice pale red. I still think Lady Gaga's pink breast cancer awareness lipstick is my favourite.

I actually like some Gaga music, but I can't do either of her MAC lipsticks. The pink is way too pink for me, and I totally agree with you on the nude. It is *too* nude and makes me look like a corpse or like I put concealer on my lips. I looked at them in the store again on Friday night (they had them at the register) and I had to restrain myself so I didn't get sucked in like sometimes happens with MAC.

I also thought Beyonce looked amazing in the Telephone video. That hairstyle & color was perfection on her.

I'm still loving Cherries In The Snow, I love the vibrancy of it! I have quite thin lips and I don't think I'd have worn a shade like it (ir red either) when I was younger, but I feel it now gives my face a 'lift'.

I used to wear natural shades when I was younger but I think they make me look a little sick now. Likewise, I don't wear anything with a frosted or glitter finish, feels a little too disco for me these days.

I agree, i actually put on a nude lipstick and looked like i had been exhumed this morning, so swapped it for a red and instantly felt and looked a bit more perky.

I'm not a big one for glitter or shimmer, it reminds me of that awful Twilight Teaser lippie i used to wear when i was a teenager, before i got into being a goth!

Agreed on all counts about the sparkly lippies - Too many reminders of my youth!

However, there is one lippie with sparkles in it that I adore(d): MAC's Baby's On Fire.

The sparkles are so fine that they are actually subtle, and the colour is so rich. I love it, which means it was limited edition. I'm about 3/4 of the way down my tube now, and I'm sure I'll have a crying fit when it's done.

I like some shimmer or sparkle lipsticks, so long as they aren't brown or nude. I can think of few things less flattering for me than a frosty taupe lipstick.

I love shimmery reds though!

I don't like shiny lips. Always makes me think they need to be wiped with a napkin. That's why I like Ruby Woo -- it is dry and matte (which I love!) I don't really like greasy lipsticks, either. The Lady Goo Goo lipsticks are kind of greasy, but with enough blotting they work out fine for me. I don't have any sparkly lipsticks, but I'm not above trying them out if I ever saw one I liked!! :D

I'm with you on the Cherries In The Snow WD Forties. It makes a really nice change and I find it leaves a nice stain instead of just rubbing off. I also have the matching nail varnish.

I don't own any sparkly lipsticks. Not since my Rimmel Coffee Shimmer day's as a 13 year old! :D

I like a nice matt shade but wouldn't say no to sparkles - especially for a special occassion like Christmas!
