Agreed, it's nice & bright, wears well but the colour but doesn't suit me. I have rosacea & ruby woo seems to bring out the red tones in my skin - not a good look.

Most likely because its an orange/coral red (It doesn't look nice on me, either.) But I bet you do well with blue reds!

I may as well add my .02: Other than bright blue red and wine red, I like topaz-y shades (MAC's "O") and the occasional pink. Purple is another popular non-red option - Personally, I don't like the way it looks on me, but it looks great on Kay Starr:

imo ruby woo isn't worth the money. I tried it on again yesterday and it looked pinkish on me so, back to storage. My grandmother and mother wore revlon, max factor..
I don't give a hoot what lady goo goo wears :p

My every day red is MAC "MAC Red" the other lippes that I reach for most often are MAC "Viva Cindy" which is essentially my lips but better, Revlon Matte in Strawberry Suede & In The Red and occasionally MAC in Vegas Volt. I also really like Lipstick Queen Medieval for a sheer red that feels more moisturising than lippy but isn't quite a balm or gloss.

I just LOVE being a brunette with pale skin! I can wear any color and even though I may not like the color, it still looks good tee hee!

Nobody can wear any colour. For example, generally brunettes with pale skin don't do too well with warm, "dirty" colours, depending on the warmth/coolness of your hair.

Pale skin also comes in different undertones - tawny, pink, blue etc. - and each one has colours that complement and clash with it.

I like Cherries in the Snow but can't wear it full on. Waaay too pink. So I blot it down pretty good and like the color quite a bit.

I tried two new lipsticks from the chart that was posted on the second page about Revlon shades.
Matte Stormy Pink and Luminous Pink which was a Pearl.
They were both pretty awful. The Matte barely had any pigment power, so even though I didn't mind the color I couldn't get it to show up very well.

The other one was a pale pearl pink and used all over just reminded me of bad 80s frosted lipstick or was that more of a 90s color? Either way, wasn't good! Returned this morning.

It's not what Lady GaGa wears, it's the color that MAC and Lady Gaga came together for breast cancer awareness month.

As someone with breast cancer & who loves vintage, i am thankful that Lady Ga Ga got involved with MAC. For her to lend her name to raise money for the cause is just fabulous from where I sit.

I feel the same, although I am not a breast cancer survivor. The money from her beige lipstick went to AIDS research. I am proud to say I own both. She has the power to do something and she is. Good on her!
