So I get a text from a woman I know who owns a vintage shop here in NJ telling me that she just got in three dozen fur felt vintage hats and that 15 of them are 7 1/4

Then she sends me these with the caption ... “sneak peek”

I’m itching to get over there to see what she has but unfortunately my schedule won’t permit until at least Sat.

We shall see if this ends up with me (or possibly some of you ) being victorious

Had a vacation day today, was at the farm and decided not to go to town for breakfast. Headed in for some grocery shopping this afternoon and saw this auction flyer that included an "antique hat collection" ... that happened this morning. I'm telling myself they were ladies hats or all 6-5/8.

Thanks,yes this is a very nice hat.Only problem is it's a 7 1/8.Not my size so will probably go up for sale.

Richard , a 6 3/4 expands enough for me at 7 3/8 , I've got 3 . Mine would be fine for a 7 5/8 I know , and would probably cover all sizes .

Last weekend antique shop finds.A Resistol box,a very nice Stetson Homburg.Always wanted a grey Homburg.My bad luck this one is small.A hair over 21",I think a size is 6 3/4.No tags in hat.

This one is definitely in the "defeats" category. Missed out on this one before I even got a chance to bid. I have a alert for any auction with the tag "borsalino" on the site it was listed on. The description was in fact along the lines of "vintage hatbox with very nice hat". Aaaaaaaaargh! Just look at this! If I had any hair I'd be pulling it out!
